Hahaha! How does it feel to be so simple-minded? One day, when I have dementia, I’ll probably experience it. Until then, I’ll be burdened with critical thinking, following biology beyond the grade school level, and trusting medical journals written after 1982. *sigh* Lucky!

I hear you 100%. You're right. Once middle-class kids lose their paraeducators and teachers start striking, we’ll see lawsuits in these politically conservative communities. But those already struggling will be left to sink, even more, until these actions are taken. Breaks my heart.

The stronghold is in the communities. As someone involved on a school board, I can tell you we were prepared for this. Right now, hundreds of school districts are pushing back—by strengthening DEI curricula and creating safe spaces for trans youth, kids with disabilities, and more.
