Not that many books read this year

Yesterday our book club had a fabulous time meeting up to talk about The List of Suspicious Things by @jenniegauthor.bsky.social. It brought back many memories for us Yorkshire women. We all loved this treasure of a book and are now looking forward to reading The Barbecue at No.9

So I finished reading The List of Suspicious Things by @jenniegauthor.bsky.social this evening. I could have finished it days ago but I took my time and enjoyed the trip down memory lane. This is now one of my favourite books.

My Goodreads challenge this year was just 30 books which I only just managed to complete. Considering it was such a busy that’s not too bad. For 2025 I’m going to set it at 36 #goodreads

2024 will always be remembered as the year which gave me so much happiness in seeing my first child getting married but also sadness as I lost the last remaining siblings of both my parents. Their love and duas are greatly missed
