I'd appreciate if @alexaphilippou.bsky.social or @michaelvoepelespn.bsky.social could reach out to Mark and ask for an update to the piece.

Miami has a certain connotation to it. His ex was not there on a post-breakup girls' trip. She's not there to relax on the beach. She's there for work and had, in fact, had a game just the night before.

Writers do a great disservice to the victim in this case by omitting those details.

I appreciate @marcraimondi.bsky.social offering new (harrowing) details of the situation involving James Pearce, Jr. but it feels worth mentioning that Pearce's ex was in Miami for work.

I haven't read a single piece about the incident that mentions Unrivaled.

Tennessee down 3 with the ball and eight seconds left vs. Kentucky. What a great night of college basketball.

Isabella Gomez and Sherry Cola debuting new characters in the same episode of #Shrinking, plus a #WNBA mention...oh, and that dude from #TheBoldType.

It's like this episode was *made* for me.

They’re trying to run the Kilmar Abrego Garcia playbook with a five year old boy in a bunny hat because nobody can find peace if they embarrass the Trump administration publicly. Normal people didn’t like it with Garcia and they really aren’t going to like it for Liam.

Halftime: #NCState 34 , #UNC 30

Lucky to have the lead but, my goodness, the way this team consistently steps off the gas after building a lead is so frustrating.

Lots of concern that the women of the #wnba had lost some momentum in CBA negotiations but tonight feels like they're reasserting themselves... reminding everyone of what their talents can deliver.

A big win ahead of Monday's meeting.
Attendance tonight at Unrivaled's Philadelphia stop: 21,490.

That's the all-time attendance record for any pro women's basketball (regular season) game and for any event in Xfinity Mobile Arena history, including concerts.

27 points in an 8 minute quarter ?!?!

Until this comes with some sanctions, this is the judicial version of sending a strongly worded letter...or Susan Collins' Senate tenure.
NEW: It's not just Minnesota, judges across the country are calling out ICE for violating court orders with regularity.

Glad to see #NCState's moved up to the 5 line in Charlie Creme's latest bracketology. Hopefully, with a few more quality wins, the team can jump back into that top 16.

I'd very much like for #NCState not to have to play a team they've already played in the opening rounds, though.

Everyday it's some new shit.

And everyday you wonder and hope that the people who have privilege at their disposal — lawyers, judges, politicians, members of the press — will show even a fraction of the courage of everyday Americans, particularly in Minneapolis, have shown.

Deeply appreciative of the work that #wnba reporters do but also, I'd appreciate a bit more skepticism from them about the numbers being handed to them...cause the math ain't mathing.

Which one of these restrictions would've saved the lives of anyone that ICE has killed?

Anything that fails to address that problem is woefully insufficient.
Dems coalescing around 5 restrictions on ICE, I'm told:

DHS required to cooperate with state probes (big)
CBP stays at border
warrants for arrests
IDs, bodycams
ICE out of churches, schools

"That package unites a lot of Dems," Sen Chris Murphy tells me on the pod:

It is good to ask Catholics to reach out to their lawmakers, it would be better if the Church called the administration's crackdown what it is: a grave sin.
Cardinal Tobin “employed some of the strongest language yet by a U.S. cardinal to condemn the Trump administration's immigration crackdown, describing Immigration and Customs Enforcement ‘lawless’ and urging Catholics to tell their lawmakers to vote against additional funding.”
Cardinal Tobin: Pray, mourn and say 'no' to ICE funding
