The push for an increase in subsidies for domestic production from lobbying from groups sis coming. If protectionism is on the docket for the next few years, this issue is one that could be exacerbated sooner than one may think.

Perhaps the most pressing environmental concern in regards to AI is water usage. The increased usage and scaling of AI technology will only exacerbate this issue.
