Looking for new experiences and stories to tell.
Most music is organized to be listened to by genre. Radio stations. Playlists on Spotify. Compilation albums. We are used to it and many use genre as an identity signal.

Does anyone else listen to a varied assortment of songs?

I’ve been having fun making a #podcast again. If you haven’t checked it out yet, please do. I may be biased but I’m still happy with it. It’s called The Founder Experience and the latest episode is here: youtu.be/fpIMKX6HvcM?...

I have launched my new #podcast called the Founder Experience with my friend Alex! I missed show biz so I decided rather than wait let’s just start something.

We are talking about the challenges of being a founder in the early stages, and sharing stories. Check us out at founderexperience.fm

When I was young I was stupid but now after many years of study and effort I am no longer young.

The Last Starfighter is such a classic.

I wish I could speak like Robert Preston.

Pet peeve: people on YouTube videos who begin by saying “let’s just jump right into it”

I’m sorry but you just took five seconds to say that which actually delayed jumping into whatever topic you claimed to want to jump into.

I know I’m a capable person.

I also feel like I don’t know what I’m doing a good chunk of the time.

I have made my peace with this.

Ever notice how it feels wrong to go to a hotel in your own city?

But why? It’s cheaper than travelling. You can swim in the pool and eat at the restaurant. Why not take a #microvacation?

So many problems in our world boil down to wealth inequality if we scratch below the surface.

And the best solution to wealth inequality is tax reform. Taxing wealth rather than work.

He’s not from the Francois-Phillipe Champagne region of France. We have to call him sparkling Leblanc.

I love that my kid’s way of stalling bedtime is to ask me to tell them stories of my youth. I get to relive the highlights.

Only trouble is eventually running out of stories that are both interesting and age appropriate. I’m digging into though my 20s at the moment.

I think what a lot of people are missing right now is the connection between two facts:

1. Elon has people gathering large amounts of sensitive data from government agencies

2. Elon wants to make an AI company that needs to be trained on large amounts of data

Destroying government is just bonus.

Speaking of synonyms, guy and man are synonyms. Sort of.

A tree guy is an arborist.

A tree man is an ent.

What I really want is someone to fight for a side I’m on.

I feel my ideological opponents have that already.

This makes me feel a little helpless. Like large, directed, and well-funded forces are working to destroy the order I consider important. And I’ve got no idea who can stop it or how to help

I am really going to try hard and ignore the news cycle for the next few years for my own sanity.

So far so good I guess but they’re not making it easy.

You know what is hard about January? The Christmas baking is all eaten already.

And if you make more you are a glutton making holiday cookies out of season.

It’s not hard to make more, but it’s socially taboo.
