Probably my biggest literary influence growing up; kind of the perfect author for a completionist like myself.
I hope that someday the Silmarillion gets the perfect adaptation it deserves and becomes as well known as Lord of the Rings.

I generally wouldn’t advise selling Sepith much in Trails—it’s too valuable for building the party.
But occasionally there’s an item you just gotta buy in these games 😅

Trails of Cold Steel 2 was already one of my all-time favorite RPGs when I thought I’d beat it 10 hours ago 🎉💝
I’ve had many RPGs that I enjoyed, but they hit a wall at about 80 hours, and everything after that felt a bit dragged out.
This game tho…I could could keep going with this one forever 🎉

When I compare Trails to the Persona series, it’s mostly about the depth of the characters.
I didn’t particularly like Jusis at first; about half of Class 7 was not particularly friendly at first, but you come to understand them better over the course of the story and Trails is the best at that 🎉💝

My only complaint about the length of the Trails series is this:
After seeing Lloyd again, I really want to replay Crossbell and find all the stuff I missed.
But I also want to see what happens next in the story 😬

Fie was constantly in my party for Trails of Cold Steel 2, because she gives you a ton of flexibility.
As a speed demon, she gives you actions when you need them; usually shutting down enemy spells or replenishing spell points for the team’s heavy artillery. Also, she evades most attacks ⚡️💪🎉

The final dungeon in Trails of Cold Steel 2 is epic.
I normally roll with two magic users in boss battles, but I only needed Emma against Mcburn, who is mostly magic (she absorbs 90% of spells).
I also had my warriors equipped with impede, to shut down his magic (like Fie did in this clip).

Just finished Return of the Jedi with my son.
I do think the finale in the original is probably the best the series, just for how straightforward and effective it was, but the last 40 minutes of Jedi is peak Star Wars

Just finished Return of the Jedi with my son.
