“No use crying over spilt milk” takes on a whole new meaning when you spill both bottles of freshly pumped breastmilk for your NICU baby.

Life update (i miss old twitter at times like this!)

After a couple miscarriages we got pregnant again this year. It was rough — salmonella, kidney stones, cervix stitches — and then last week our boy decided to come prematurely at 24 weeks 5 days.

He’s in NICU until Dec.

Looking forward to English teachers using Biden’s Kissinger statement in English close reading exams for decades to come.

I am absolutely here for the competition for most savage Kissinger piece.

A competition where we all win, unlike anyone who had the misfortune to be targeted by that psychopath.

Wait so Auckland’s mayor completely flubbed in a major emergency and folks are fine with him keeping his job but they’re calling for Tory Whanau to resign because she got boozy a couple times and was honest about it? Miss me with that double standard racist bullshit, please.

Me: Look, some BJPer got AUT to cancel the booking of the Sikhs who wanted to talk about India assassinating that Canadian Sikh. They cancelled a Tiananmen event in 2019 as well after Chinese diplomats complained.
Indian husband: Why are they so accommodating of fascists

Did _any_ mainstream media in Aotearoa cover the huge Palestinian solidarity demonstrations today?

It feels wrong and bad that the National party have stuck stickers up on their hoardings using the electoral commission orange colour but with national party messaging.

My period cycle tracker:

✅ record track period and associated changes
✅ record and track pregnancy
❌ record miscarriage.

Love to have some product manager somewhere decide not to build that. Now the app is confused and also kind of gaslighty.
