More Nasties in the News!

Starke County admin, Shannon Kietzman, is pictured holding her Lorax sign.

More coverage of yesterday's protest. You can see me holding up my Lorax sign to the left.
Stand up for our parks! Thanks to everyone who came out to the Indiana Dunes protest today ❤️❤️❤️

Nasty Woman admin, Shannon Kietzman, made the Chicago Tribune along with other Nasties from the Porter County chapter!

Article from yesterday's protest. I am shown in one of the pics holding up my Lorax sign.
Scores of people, many toting homemade signs, braved the briskly cold weather Saturday afternoon to gather at the Indiana Dunes National Park Visitor Center to protest the loss of park employees.

Nasty Women showing up to support our parks!
Protest that I attended yesterday. My hands were frozen, but our parks are worth it!
Joining the resistance at Indiana Dunes NP this morning. Around 200 showed up in freezing temps and snow. This is how we fight back ✊✊ @resistancerangers.bsky.social @altnps.bsky.social

This was in reference to when Obama had the audacity to wear a tan suit at a press conference. The GOP went absolutely crazy over it. There is even a Wiki article about it. Seriously. Go look.

And now we have a president declaring himself King and those same folks have no problem with it.

The same people who continually spread the proven-to-be-false lie that Obama was not an American-born citizen and called for his removal based on this lie now have no issue with someone born in South Africa effectively serving as president. 🤔

Some of y'all don't seem to have a problem with remembering the new name for a certain body of water. In fact, you are celebrating it! 🤔

Kinda wild how passionately certain folks will insist that the 2nd Amendment must be recognized as a "Constitutional Right" to the fullest extent possible, but then seemingly view other Amendments as mere suggestions to be ignored.

If you support this administration and this ideology, you can seriously eff right off.

I am tired of supporters of this current Republican Administration with all of its gaslighting, facts denying, purposeful ignorance and pretending like you don't see and support its racism and misogyny.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the same people who don't care about our personal information being stolen by a foreign terrorist are the same people who think copying/pasting a rambling post about FB not having rights to their personal information actually protects their information.

Funny that the same people who have screamed the loudest about resisting a cashless society seem to have no issues with Elon's xMoney. 🤔

The people who are Big Mad about "cancel culture" and people losing jobs/sales/endorsements due to the resulting boycotts are the same people who see no issue with thousands of federal employees being fired without cause. 🤔

House Democrats made an unsuccessful attempt to subpoena billionaire Elon Musk to testify about his efforts to radically reshape the federal government, only to be blocked by Republicans.

At OPM, Musk’s staffers won’t leave—they work around the clock and have even installed sofa beds in the office. Our access to data systems has been restricted, raising serious concerns about cybersecurity and a complete lack of oversight. We are keeping our heads down and documenting everything.

The Republican Administration may choose to ignore the importance of black history in the development of our country, but "We the People" do not have to follow that lead.

This month, and every month, let's appreciate our black brothers and sisters for their contributions past, present and future.
