Sounds like ICE employed El Salador’s strategy for rounding up people to send there: arrest anyone who looks like they might be in a gang (anyone who has tattoos) and lock ‘em all up. No questions. No trials. No recourse.

In the stories I’ve seen of people being unreasonably detained by ICE, the officers’ behavior is just so… strange.
They seem to know what’s going to happen. They won’t say what. They won’t say why.
When asked, they claim ignorance.

It’s shocking to me how little we seem to care about Congress. I just looked through the entire staff directory at VT and, as best I can tell, nobody here studies what happens after members are elected.

Congress has ceded its power. They have damaged our system of checks and balances. The Courts are the last check on the President.
If he can get away with ignoring a court order, we will have lost our Republic.
