In a moment where there is rampant misinformation about vaccinations, it’s so important that we have organizations like NAPCA hosting events to keep people safe.

NAPCA supports today's Senate Aging Committee hearing on foreign manufactured drugs. We are concerned about the dangers of weight loss drugs made abroad that are marketed to seniors but are not FDA approved.

Patient safety for our elders should be priority.

Though initially impacted by last month's SCSEP furloughs, Yanmei and Niaofu Wu have since been hired by their host agency!

Despite this great news, thousands of seniors remain furloughed and vulnerable as the funding pause continues, reminding us that #SCSEPMatters.

Yapei was just starting to feel hope when he was furloughed due to the #SCSEP funding pause. For him and thousands of other low-income elders, being furloughed means no job training and no support.

The Dept. of Labor still has not released funding for SCSEP past June 30. Without SCSEP, many older adults like Soy will lose income to pay for taxes, rent and food.
