It genuinely shocks me how many people think that they will die if they ride the NYC subway. I encounter these people a lot some even think it’s even too dangerous to ride NJ Transit.

the amount of support for the temperance movement and the war on drugs in the replies of this is staggering just because it happens to be native land. just because it’s oppressed people does not mean it’s good policy to restrict people’s freedom.
