I don't know who needs to hear this, but there's PLENTY of attractive, well-endowed women out there who have zero issue saying that white supremacy is for inbred idiot CHUDs.

This is a pre-emptive "shut the fuck up, you don't have the first thing resembling a moral or ethical high ground to stand on" for anyone who wants to get indignant about Prop 50 passing.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you believe a word of the "Tylenol causes Autism" bs, you deserve every dismissal and eye roll you get whenever you say you "did your research".

Not distracted, release the Epstien Files.

"What's a 'groyper'?"
"What does 'owo' mean?"

If you find yourself asking these questions and don't want to risk the kind of rabbit hole that will send you down, let me try to explain the latest "development":

Imagine that we're in 1939 Berlin.

Not a great sign when the NRA is doing more to speak up against trans people having constitutional rights stripped away than a lot of our actual supposed allies are.
Oh my god, Trump actually got the NRA to come out to defend trans people owning a gun.

Just watched Tango & Cash for the first time.

My main takeaway: more strip clubs should have their dancers do live drum solos.

Here's an idea for a new gameshow.

Take a bunch of AI enthusiasts who swear that Gen-AI "levels the playing field for people who want to write and create art" and that people who are anti-AI are "ableist because not all of us were born with talent". 1/2

Looking forward to the day where we look back at people who flippantly use GenAI to make not-art and plagiarize writing the way we currently look back at the people who would gather to watch nuclear detonation like a spectator sport.

Am I the only one who remembers that "the government is paying women to have babies when they can't support them" was one of the big propaganda lines against child credits and welfare?

When you hear talk about declining birthrates and the "survival of humanity", remember that 1) the human population is nearly double what it was when people first started to get concerned about OVER-population and 2) the decline in birthrates is ALSO due to the massive decline in teen births.

It is hilarious to me that the almost unanimous response to the #Oscars announcement about voters actually having to watch the films they're voting on is "You mean that wasn't already a rule?!"
April 24, 2025 at 1:51 AM
The fact that this wasn't a requirement to begin with explains a LOT of "winners".
Academy voters are now required to watch all nominated films in their respective categories for voting eligibility in the final round.

Anyone taking bets on how long until Trump insists that he should be the one to appoint the new #pope ?

I would love to point out the idiocy of RFKs statement about autistic people "not paying taxes" while being a lackey for people who's entire fortune is partly based on exploiting every tax loophole under the sun, but if the MAGA crowd cared about ignorant hypocrisy we wouldn't be in this situation.

Hot take: part of the reason so much of the restaurant industry is suffering is because of Covid - but not in the way you think.

During lockdown, many people were forced to stay at home and pick up ways to pass the time. One way that a lot of people did that was learning how to cook. 1/

Let's say that this IS a temporary pain and within a year or two American factories are up and running again. (thread)

Let's say that we have the infrastructure and resources to make that happen.

And let's say that the cities in which said factories are built have appropriate labor pools. 1/

Every air traffic controller who responds to Musk's request should demand the exact wages, benefits, and conditions (adjusted for inflation) that Reagan denied in '81.

Hey, artists, in case you were wondering if your work matters: I'm a scientist working on climate change and biodiversity, and I would not be who I am today without The Lorax, The Secret of NIMH, Watership Down, The Last Unicorn, and The X-Files. I know I'm not alone. Thank you for all you do.

Do you ever think about the fact that somewhere in the USA there's a guy who seriously thinks that we'll never get another movie like Showgirls because of "woke feminism"?

That's a viable scenario in our world right now.

"Move fast, break things" is an easy philosophy to stand by when you're never responsible for fixing the things that get broken.

If Baldurs Gate 3 has taught me anything, it's that the best solution to an incompetent megalomaniac with a worm in his brain is unbridled rage and concentrated firepower... and a twink with a witty comment in reserve.

The Silicon Valley billionaires & techno-feudal lords who are waging a capitalists' coup right now are rebelling against the people & the "free market" for rejecting them & the tech they need us to become dependent on. They're taking over the government to ensure we have no more choice in the matter
