I just got a transition in my main job and I think it'll affect how I do my stuff in the upcoming months.

You can expect me to slow down and go less active about Unearther at some point onward. But I won't just abandon my hobby and go missing for sure, so don't worry.👍

Got the waypoint teleportation fully working now. After almost a year since its first appearance.

Use for fast travel between points just like in the other games.

It's been a while since this purple-pad thing exists in my game and i got asked several times for what it is.

It's a waypoint, used for teleportation between places. But it didn't function until today's build where i started implementing it.😂

The forest backgrounds on the left are made from just 2 images on the right. That's the magic when techniques are properly used.

Got an opening sequence of Unearther story mode.

There may be an intro dialogues briefly explaining the story before the sequence. But i haven't finished working on it yet.

The flying stage in Unearther, exclusive to story gameplay.

Still early into making. But you can imagine how the final version is like to be played. Also, You can expect some items or weapons to be used here to easier pass the stage.

Alright, I'll get to the gameplay and story progression this time.

Potato/Lowest (Effects Off) vs Max settings.

Made some changes to the game visual, added background fog, distanced blur, etc. Now, no more about shaders i guess?

I know the progressive roll out strategy. But sometimes, I also want an option to just update to the latest version.

Like when Pico 4 (VR) released an update, it took me months to just receive that. Isn't it all the same hardware or what? Only difference is region. Why tf would it take that long?

Got to test Unearther on an iGPU/Intel UHD630 today. At 1080p resolution. Max Settings [ 35-40fps ] Lowest Settings [ ~52fps ]

Regardless of fps, Input lag is not great. Newer iGPU or even dGPU is recommended. (The game utilizes shaders, so it's demanding to some extent)

Finished writing a storyline for Unearther. WOOOOO!!!

Not sure how many hours it'll be, since it'll largely depend on how you will play it and it's a sandbox based game. But it'll last at least a couple of hours for sure.

Found out about Winlator for quite a while. (An app to run .exe on android) Let's give Unearther a try.

It only took about 100+ clicks just to make it launch because it keeps randomly closed. Once it ran, it did with missing graphics and..... it froze!

Honestly, There should be a separate game for this. Where you have to retain the momentum to reach the goal and avoid getting stopped by obstacles.🤣🤣🤣

Even though i'm not very deep into japanese/anime cultures these days. But i'm pretty much addicted walking around seeing stuff in these VR worlds. They are pleasant and detailed.
