Meanwhile, in real life…my middle schooler couldn’t even go to school today because of a threat called into the school’s office voicemail yesterday evening. I’m thankful they closed to investigate, but it’s sad this is becoming a common occurrence in our #Michigan schools.

Realization I had at the grocery store today…here’s yet another reason to wipe down your shopping cart…birds like to sit on the carts in the cart corral. There were about 6 sparrows having a meeting on a couple of the carts.

It’s currently 7 degrees but feels like -9. At 4am it will be 3 degrees & will feel like -13. I’m sure that’s the reason the deer stopped by a few hours early this evening (around 6pm) to raid my bird feeder. There were 8 of them out there together at one point.
