I've been fussing with my shader settings for a good 3 days or so and I still can't get anything I'm super happy about. Everything is too bright or too dark with no real fix in the settings. I miss how the old version 4 complementary looked on my old PC/Monitor but I can't recreate it TwT

Forest temple build WIP inspired by stave churches... been really wanting to play around more with Nordic inspired fantasy architecture... definitely not influenced by a recent Skyrim binge or anything tho.

IMO, there are too many villages in minecraft. I like the more isolated feel of the game tbh, and I get frustrated when villages are in the way of an otherwise good build spot. Sure, you can tear them down, but it's annoying.

So many people seem to be all about seeds with "crazy" structures or "rare" terrain generation but like... what about seeds with terrain that just offers *really nice* views? Underrated, IMO.

I will say recording is illuminating as far as how much time I actually spend building things... seven hours just for a simple house in survival seems excessive. I need to work on my efficiency ;w;

Apparently when I thought I had installed the codec I needed it wasn't the right one, or perhaps not an updated one, because I tried yet again to install the "missing" codec and... this time it actually fixed the problem without need for workarounds. So. Recording today? Perhaps?
