A reminder for folks:
Taft-Hartleys are not just a SAG-AFTRA thing! The Taft-Hartley act of 1947 made them a thing for *all* US labor unions, so they can’t be removed from any one union’s processes.
THs also made it possible for non-union people to work on Union projects, period.

Also would like to note that this limit is not new to the Interim Interactive Agreement SAG has proposed. I've seen ppl saying that SAG is striking right now to force ppl to join and that wouldn't make sense because this has been the case for many iterations of the interactive contract. 🧵1/2
Why have limits on how many THs a worker gets before needing to join a union in order to keep doing union work?
Union benefits (like healthcare, emergency staff, legal funds) are fully funded by member-paid dues. If there was no TH limit, no one would join/pay dues, & no one would get benefits

I feel like I need help man... the burnout from studying is just getting way too bad, and I, for the love of me, cannot study theory at all. even if there's like exercises, the theory just would never make sense to me at all, and people keep telling me that theory is important for real life things
