made Jalapeno pepper jelly yesterday. Thanks Bryan D. for remembering about the green pepper. I have made other jams and jellies, not pepper jelly. As soon as I tasted it, I knew it was right.

It's Hatch chile time in Colorado! I finally made Myra's cream soup recipe with Poblano peppers and it's REALLY tasty. I did it exactly the way she made it with half margarine and half butter, and I think it makes a difference in the taste. Try it soon!

It's Hatch chile time in Colorado! I finally made Myra's cream soup recipe with Poblano peppers and it's REALLY tasty. I did it exactly the way she made it with half margarine and half butter, and I think it makes a difference in the taste. Try it soon!
It's green chile time in the west, my friends. I posted my version of enchiladas. I usually use chicken and beans in my filling. I have SO MANY zucchini I may have to add them to my filling next time...

I made some of Myra's vegan mousse recipes this past weekend. My neighbors and friends all got into it and tried different versions. (Myra left me a list of ingredients, but no instructions.)
You do have to like chocolate, but then, it's not dessert if there's not chocolate involved. Enjoy!
