It's awkward being on the same plane with a mix of people that you like very much, and people you can't stand. But hey, that's a 7 hour cross ocean flight for you.

Most anxious part of travel today isn't so much flying over the Atlantic, but wondering if my daughter and her grandparents traveled safely. Thankfully, I got a good word that they landed in Jersey just fine and will be boarding for Miami soon.

I absolutely welcome the challenge next week from Chelsea LeClair. Both of us were very unsatisfied by our match that took place in that social media shit show and regardless of who wins, we're both going to prove we were always better than that.

THE ladder match, the one match that started it all for me, the one nobody gave me a chance to win yet I did, turns 17 today. Recent adversity obviously pales in comparison to what I was going through then and what I overcame them. I continue to defy the expectations of others day after day.

I've noticably done more of my posting here these days. I'm not sure how much I'll be using the other site. Recent experiences have made me really not want to bother with it if we're being honest.

This social media detox has been great. Losing that burden of having to be something I'm not while my TL was flooded with garbage has been a blessing and getting a chance to be at home more often has been the best part.

Perspective: it wasn't a generation gap thing after all. Truth is, there are so many in the "younger generation" that are passionate and are great people.
I was skewed a bit being in a locker room of passionless toxicity, where being an edge lord was valued far more than being an actual wrestler.
