Sequanota continued with forays in the morning and more collections for DNA sequencing 🧬 We had an abundance of chicken 🍗 (of the woods). Dr. Catherine Aime from Purdue University wrapped up the evening with a presentation on neotropical fungi in Guyana and their ecological impacts🌴

We kicked off Camp Sequanota with a cloudy foray and many great finds! Jared’s bittersweet lecture on medicinal fungi had guests tasting a variety of mushroom extracts from Reishi to Ganoderma to Lion’s mane. Stay tuned for future Sequanota shenanigans!
