Creating a simple browser extension is messier than I imagined.
For example, command shortcut stopped worked. Why? Idk.
Shortcut combo is shown in the extension shortcuts tab, but it's not working. It works if set manually with exact same combo.

Why to even ask for ethnicity?
- Also, why there's afro-american black, but not afro-afro black?
- Where do "latinos" fall?
- Why the enormous asia is just "asian"?
Wouldn't it make sense to focus on the actual country / region instead? That makes more sense?

MS Edge can read a page in English with any accent. It's funny!
As a non native speaker I lean into trying to learn native speakers pronunciation. So, I really wonder why would anyone want to listen a page in non native pronunciation, beside it being funny?

In the indie hackers bubble there's a little bit of "hate" towards multitude of frameworks, but is there some space for love instead? Like isn't it interesting how technical problems are approached by different tools?

I don't understand why push-pulling metals Allomancy is compared with Magneto powers.
The only thing they have in common is really "metal" and "influence". But the origin of powers, its limits, the way they work are completely different.

It's ironic that reading the book I feel like Sazed - if I return to a specific page I don't remember the information it contains, even though I read it yesterday.

My Logitech k380 "f" button apparently wore contacts out. So I got my old full sized Acer keyboard. It’s probably been typing longer than me. It's almost twice the size of the k380, my fingers already hurt from spreading so much.

Migrating my small website from Jekyll to Astro, I like it. But it also frightens me with its complexity. Guess this is the price to pay for being powerful.

Maybe it's a strange perspective, but I feel that vibe coding kind of obscured the algorithms importance for SWE.
What's your take on this? Are algos still important or is like learning assembly for JS coding?

Do you curse often? I curse, depending on the people I'm with, but I still feel ashamed of it. It's not something I value, but it's an old bad habit.
However, when I'm alone, shame or not, I curse as a fucking damned, specially if I'm stressed, angry. It's a way of venting.
