Bingo. We pursued globalization without retraining our workers to compete in that hyperconnected and open global market.
The catastrophic mistake was underinvesting in reeducation of the American workforce 25-30 years ago and leaving it to the free market.

Finally got to bake again. This is called Drommekage or Danish Dream Cake. It is a vanilla cake topped with a coconut caramel icing. The icing is briefly broiled to get a slight crunch.
