Don't forget, that beautiful book you're reading didn't start out beautiful. It went through dozens of revisions. Don't compare your first, second..fifth draft to that gorgeous book. You can also create a great book, it just takes drive, grit & the ability to keep going, even when it's hard as hell.

But can someone tell me what part of it was so crazy that people stopped reading?

Alice Isn't Dead is a good audio drama. I wouldn't call it a horror podcast but it may be my unfamiliarity with the environment the story is in that made it less scary to me. I mostly found it thought-provoking. So, looking for a slightly creepy fiction podcast to listen to? I'd recommend it.
