This is an inherent problem of capitalism.
Kids don't have spaces to just be kids, because that's not profitable.
We all agreed it's wrong to manipulate kids, so Capital mostly just dumped them, unless they could find a loophole to exploit them some other way that wasn't legally curbed.

Kids are priced out of toys, they are priced out of video games, all they get are games like Roblox and Fortnite designed from the ground up to exploit them.
it's another case of kids being written out of the equation because adults are a bigger and more stable form of income, who cares that the people buying kirby air riders for 100 dollars now could get the original for 15, that's unrelated to MONEY NOW

Ive been too shiny hunting pilled recently but i do very much plan to replay anything i dont have a postgame save file in (which is everything 3ds and prior. except gen 1 and 2 youd have to pay me to play those instead of just playing HGSS)

Oh i was gonna bemoan the lack of battleground cafe in BDSP but apparently they just gave the leaders rematches in their gyms as well as giving them battle tower teams
