Found pawprints in a dusty corner that I know are hers since I saw her there the other day. Didn't occur to me to check until I was in the shower thinking about things, as one does, and sure enough. Doing what I can now to photograph and save them. A small joy in all this grief.

We decided to dress up as each other for Halloween. Although since my outfit is basically his minus most of what covers his bones, well...let's just say we didn't fully think this one through.
