It’s actually easy to eat healthy at Thanksgiving. Squash, sweet potato, green beans, turkey, real butter, salad with olive oil and vinegar - load up on these things and keep the bread, cranberry sauce, and white potatoes to a minimum. For desert, go for a thin slice of apple pie if it’s an option

One thing most of my clients get wrong is having fruit, pancakes, cereal, sugar, and other carbs at breakfast. This causes blood sugar to spike high and then crash low, leading to unstable energy and cravings all day. Choose protein, healthy fats, and veggies to start your day with instead :)

If you struggle with ADHD, depression, or anxiety, I urge you to check out how much high quality complete protein and Omega 3s you are eating, in addition to B12 and folate consumption, as these are heavy hitters in the brain function department 👍
