I'm taking another week hiatus. Good news: I actually feel good today. For the past several weeks it's just been bad days, and I want to use this energy to be productive off-stream, and to help myself have more good days.

No streams this week. My headspace hasn't been very good lately and I need to focus on figuring out what I'm feeling, why I'm feeling this way, and make a plan for fixing what I can and coping with what I can't.

Looks like it's time for Steam Next Fest. This is the first year where I'm actually taking a proper look at it and will be trying out some demos! This will put Autonauts on hold for a bit, but we'll be checking out a bunch of new games!

After today's stream I put some thought into an realised that, ultimately, I wasn't having fun. I took on a challenge I shouldn't have, made a bunch of mistakes, and came to the conclusion that I have to restart.
I'm abandoning the challenge run in favour of doing a normal Mars start.

So this morning I learned two things about myself: apparently I'm a violent extremist and a virus. Which is bizarre because I thought I was a human with human rights and dignity. I'm also very much a pacifist, though the current administration is really testing that.

I love planned obsolescence. I have a phone that does everything I need. Battery is still good and it can handle the few tasks I use it for! Then Samsung goes and disables their update channels for it, so it's stuck on an old version of Android.
