The Mulroney Institute is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of The Hon. Dr. Donald H. Oliver.

Dr. Oliver was a trailblazer, becoming the first Black man in Canadian history to be appointed to the Senate. He was also a friend to the Institute, and will be sorely missed.

We are pleased to announce Dr. Adam Perry (@perryja.bsky.social) has been named a Fellow of the Institute.

Dr. Perry is an interdisciplinary researcher whose work explores migration, precarious labour, and emancipatory adult education through qualitative, participatory, and arts-based methods.
