✍️ on a grain of rice under water for Saul to track in this training session… He is primarily an underwater search k9 and as such has a very developed nose for the slightest trace of scent, this type of training has all been by design for the goal of becoming a detection k9 in his profile bio information.. He’s always looking for the weakest scent source as he’s an underwater search k9 and as such the weakness scent signature will always be under water obviously.. This search is not about the path taken , any run of the mill search k9 at all needs to be able to track a person’s last hot foot fall, if they can’t do that they thy ain’t really a search k9 for SAR work… this search is about finding the trace elements of the ink on the rice grain under water…I showed him the pen at the start and from that distance he knew his target signal ..
