in 2021, Curt Schilling came 16 votes away and then completely lost it and went complete right-wing and his support collapsed after that.
There were 14 blanks that year, and four single-name ballots where it wasn't him.

We know it's gonna be hairy for Andruw. Ballots like these could well be the ones that decide if he makes it or has to try again next year. Getting on big ballots is fun and all, they get you *most* of the way, but getting on the small ballots is what decides if you get in or not.
