I mean we live in a shitty world so yeah there’s gonna be some difficult stuff but we don’t need endless echo-chambers of 70 year olds crying that “schools let kids these days shit in litterboxes!!!” after seeing an out of context ironic meme that they’re brainwashed to believe is real news

But the developers really need to listen to what young people want and they need to keep a stable algorithm for detecting hate oriented speech and avoid falling into the trap of being paid millions of dollars to allow “news entertainment” sources to push outrage oriented disinformation bait.

Honestly it would be great to see this app succeed and hopefully not just be another “Threads” repeat (whatever happened there). I wouldn’t mind moving away from Facebook which is the last social app I currently use despite the negativity and pandering to right wing nonsense of Meta and Twitter
