Today we recycled the two millionth pound of cardboard from campus this year! That is enough to fill 48 semi trucks, all of which went to Michigan companies to be recycled into new material!

Special thanks to the recycling crew from yesterday’s game! Staff began showing up at 5am to get campus ready for the 7:30pm kickoff, and were back to work at 6am today to continue the post game clean up!

The shade cloth is off! Keeping our worms comfortable all year round requires constant monitoring by our staff. Removing the shade cloth will allow for more sunlight to enter and keep the worms cozy as temperatures drop.

To kick off the start of October, MSU’s Surplus Store and Recycling Center held Fall Fest from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the center.

Tomorrow is Fall Fest! Come join us 12-4pm for free tours, upcycle crafts, pumpkin carving, meet our worms, make a fidget toy, take apart some tech, touch a truck & so much more! We will also be using this event as a collection point for Spartan Shelf.
