Nobody knows communities better than their members.

That's why we worked with the Ministry of Health to engage more than 1,400 community volunteers in a measles and rubella vaccination campaign in West Darfur, Sudan. This approach meant that lifesaving vaccines reached the most remote families.

In Idlib, Syria, years of war forced thousands of families from the warmth of their homes and into freezing cold camps.

📸 After temperatures dropped below 0°C from a cold wave, we distributed materials in over 20 camps to help people heat their makeshift shelters.

Following two drone attacks in Sudan, near the border with Chad, 29 people sustaining injuries were referred to the MSF-supported hospital in Tine, eastern Chad. 6 people were reported killed during the attack, and 4 more died in hospital.

🔴 On 4 February, one of our colleagues was shot in the abdomen by a stray bullet while inside our healthcare centre in Al-Mawasi, Gaza. She was transferred to Nasser hospital for surgery and is now in stable condition.
