Starbucks’ “apology” pisses me off. They KNEW what they were doing w/ both the bear cup & Hello Kitty. Scarcity doesn’t make more $$ for them: it enriches scalpers/eBay. It does make would-be buyers mad and already disgruntled workers more unhappy. Also the bear is CLEARLY pleasuring himself.

I admit, with shame, I sometimes shop at Walmart for a specific type of food. If you need a “center aisle” item, like boxed cake mix for a birthday cake, no other grocery store has the selection Walmart does. Heavily processed crap food is what they do best. (Also…Milo’s iced tea is 🔥.)

So much stems from no one ever teaching what socialism and communism actually are. They stopped at “they’re evil, and you can’t own anything.” Makes it really easy to slap that label on whatever you want. (And miss slapping it on when the government demands ownership of national industry.)
