Why impose tariffs on Canada? Lumber prices skyrocket, Trump has a reason to blow apart all logging restrictions. Bye bye old growth, bye-bye nature.

The most positive theory I can put forward at this point is that Trump, pondering death, is aiming for chaos, assassination and martyrdom rather than gradual disintegration and ridicule.

I resumed my subscription to Science some time back, but found that I tended to ignore it. But recently I found that reading it is a great antidote to the anti-science fervor found in facebook and the current federal executive.
