I don't know if I'll ever understand the "culture" or whatever you call it here in Las Vegas. There was yet another pedestrian death and nothing changes. People seem to shrug it off. Wtf. 😳

Well... therapy is interesting with a child who can't speak to her.😬😅 Uhh, she said a whole 3 words during a 1 hour appointment. I hope the next appointment is better. I feel helpless in making things better.

Is this what it's like for most people?
My daughter got sick a few days ago and she's done so well on just her inhaler, that all she has needed is rest and encouraging her to drink. No steroids, no round the clock breathing treatments, etc. It's awesome! But weird. 😅

My kids were playing on my phone and, without me knowing, switched the settings to the smart light bulbs. Now, when I turn on the light to do laundry, I get a party light that changes to multiple colors. 🫠😂

Well, we now have an official diagnosis of selective mutism. It was a little hard to hear, but I knew that it was coming. My daughter will see a therapist for several sessions and hopefully make good progress.

I've done some stupid stuff, but this one... ugh. While fixing the fort that had a board come off yesterday, I made the bad decision of trying to pull the dang screw out after using the impact gun. Ouch. Burned my thumb. 😅 Don't do that.

Yesterday, we had a few preteen boys show up at my door. 3 were friends of my son that I recognized, and 2 I had not met before. I'm glad I did a Costco shop this past week. 😅😂 I am glad they all feel comfortable here, though, and they had fun. 🥰 It reminded me of an 80/90s childhood.

1 IEP meeting done and 1 more to go. My son's meeting went well, and he has a nice setup to help him succeed. 🥰 I always feel so tired after these meetings. I want to take a nap today.
