i didnโt want to rain on everyoneโs parade yesterday. i couldnโt quite bring myself to celebrate even though i love ofmd more than anything. mostly i bad to back off bc i got so demoralized by how being in fandom (and the world tbf) means just putting up with almost constant Racist Background Noise
think i need to take a break for a bit bc now im just being constantly reminded of how i know i can never fully fit into this fandom and itโs bumming me out!

oh that must be incredibly frustrating... some people are probably in denial and their white fragility gets in the way of them actually making a change and being a real ally. when someone tells you you're being racist, YOU NEED TO LISTEN AND DO BETTER! i wish you didn't have to fear speaking up. :(
