Got around to doing multiple uses, it works really really well. Heated up to about 85 deg, cools down to 60 really quickly, and then a really good quality hover at 52 deg. Took around 15 minutes to get enough data to be able to talk about what's happening!

As promised, a snap of the beeswax we use for latent heat. Sooo much better! #iTeachPhysics

Don't know if I'm late to the party on this one or what, but I hate stearic acid to show latent heat as it takes about 40 mins! The answer... beeswax! Takes about 8 mins and hovers perfectly at 52 deg. S's think it's magic, but that's what Science is! Magic that works! #iteachphysics
