I was convinced I’d missed this by a mark so this email has been the best surprise 🥹🎓

This is quickly becoming my favourite activity when starting with a new class. Our canvases are now proudly displayed on the wall as a talking point for any visitors to our classroom. 😁✂️🖼️

Baking cherry scones today with a page by page recipe. They turned out great, not many made it to our school bags 🤭 👨🏼‍🍳

We made our own bird feeders and hung them up in our garden tree today. 🐦⭐️

We made donuts- from scratch! 😁 🍩 ⭐

Exploring different rides at theme parks and funfairs - with an impromptu classroom rollercoaster. We had a bash at making our own - some were loopy, super high and very colourful. Have a look to see where our rollercoaster cart ended up 😆 🎢

Settling in to our new class and routine. Today tallying up some points in prep for some carnival games 😜 we have also been taking turns, sharing and being super helpful. ⭐️

Fun day out to Briarlands Farm with our POD friends 🐮🐷⭐️

Wrote a chapter on ethics, then did the most unethical thing: wrote the whole thing while working full-time. MEd dissertation = GONE

Since last June, we’ve been encouraging one of our pupils to put her drink in the fridge instead of pouring it down the sink after reg (always with a giggle!). This week, she’s done it every day—now helping herself and drinking much more 👏🏼 ⭐

Today we made lasagne - we had to break up the mince, brown it off then layer each ingredient. It smelled amazing and tasted great, too! 👨🏼‍🍳 🍝 ⭐ @carrongrangesch.bsky.social

We have been out identifying different road signs. We were organising them by shape and will later look at what each category of shape means.
