The kid got his very first lunch detention to be served tomorrow. He named a main character in his story Lil Dookie and apparently his Language Arts teacher was not impressed. I asked if he spelled it correctly because if you’re gonna risk it don’t look dumb.

I really need to work on what I bring to the table should we be attacked by aliens or the new confederacy. Canning terrifies me. I can fish but hate the taste so I’d be trading that for liquor probably. I can drive a stick and run my mouth. I think I might be a liability.

Early voting started today in California and we NEED Prop 50 to pass. It’s disheartening living in a REDneck county in a blue state. The local papers, FB groups, grocery stores are full of big toe sock hole hillbillies speaking Fox News to ANYONE who will listen. They’re everywhere.

How far do we think average citizens will go to defend our country? Will we take it to the streets or just take it…
It seems clear—I think to everyone, now—that a false and illegal invocation of the Insurrection Act is coming before the end of the year. Media outlets should be telling us how they will prepare for this potential Treason. State governments should be telling us. Activists should be developing plans.

While I was giving Free Mom Hugs at our local pride the husband and kid were digging ditches and building raised flowerbeds for a fellow scout’s Eagle Project. Leading by example, get involved, take care of your community.
