Graduation! For every graduate, there is a team behind them. My graduation was a celebration and a thanks to everyone who got me over the finishing line...the friends I made, the tutors, my mum and dad, my kids (for seeing lessons of me) and most of all Jamie! #primaryteacher #pdgepUoE

This week I went back to uni. Integrating RME and Expressive Arts by looking at Festivals and creating transient art was thought provoking. Followed by solving problems in Technology. Can't forget lunch in the sunshine with some of the people getting my through this amazing but intense year!

Designing and creating their own anemometers to measure the wind. The children used so many meta skills - collaboration, communication, focus, creativity, adapting....and more! Fingers crossed for a windy day for testing them! #UoEPGDEp #primaryscience

Pluriliteracies Week....AMAZING! Thought provoking, fun and inspiring. We can meaningfully include languages into our teaching not only to teach children a different language, but to see, include and learn from children by including their language and stories #inclusion #UoEPGDEp #pluriliteracies

World Mental Health Day
This afternoon we were thinking about our protective factors. Running has been my saviour through some harder times. It's a non-negotiable in my life. Time is always made for a run to help my head space. #worldmentalhealthday #UoEPGDEp #runformentalhealth

I still have anxiety about maths and I'm determined to make sure I support children to love maths and realise noone is 'bad' at maths.
Teaching methods for addition and subtraction was very interesting this morning. #UoEPGDEp #teachingmathematics #primaryteacher

We have been engaging in a lot of learning about sustainability this week and how we can embed this as teachers. Today we recycled old t-shirts and made something else. My boys love my playing card pouch. #UoEPGDEp #sustainability

Thinking about 'awe and wonder' today. Things that make me wonder
1. autumn leaves - they make me appreciate the beauty in our world
2. Clouds - the shapes, the texture, the need...so many things to consider.
3. Arthur's Seat - reminds me we are in a special city. #RMEdrift #UoEPGDEp #awe&wonder

Science at uni today and I'm feeling excited to teach science and inspire our future scientists. To nurture children's curiosity and questioning with their world through science is going to be fun! Micro teaching was also fun #pgdep #primaryteaching #teachingscience #uoepgde #studentteacher
