Poetry Books for Secondary School Libraries
Many secondary school libraries have a very limited selection of poetry books. We try to donate over 1000 books a year to secondary school libraries - with your help!

After over 3 years of Lead Prac & advisory roles, I say goodbye to @CSCJES today to return to @StCyresSchool. It’s been a privilege to work with schools across the region and with such a great team. Diolch to anyone who engaged with PL, projects or support- you’ve been amazing 🥰

Anyway, it’s all been resolved now, but that’s why lots of my resources are pdfs and have my logo on them! If you want an editable version just DM me and I’ll send you a link to the originals. I know it’s not foolproof but it hopefully makes it harder for people to be cheeky! 🧵

I like the idea of helping someone out in a pinch with a starting point/idea for a lesson/activity.
And that’s why it’s sad to see my work on TES when it can be accessed freely, with someone profiting from being disingenuous. I’d even accept if it was adapted, but it wasn’t. 🧵

I share a buymeacoffee link because I’ve had requests about it, but I don’t expect money for sharing, it’s just a nice bonus when it happens. Some people make paid resources and that’s great too. I’ve paid for resources before and I’ve been happy to. 🧵

My resources will always be free, and if people want to use them as is or adapt them then that’s great. Most of them are inspired by other people or are adaptations from other people in any case. 🧵

Just an FYI: the cheesy/cringey ‘logo’ on my new resources (and I’m working my way through the back catalogue) is not an ego thing (promise!) - I found a few of my resources on TES behind a paywall so I’m trying to balance protecting my work with sharing for free 😔 🧵

Just a reminder that the books we call "children's books" are really books written for an audience that includes children, but excludes absolutely no-one at all. They are BOOKS FOR EVERYONE - and you can never, ever be too old to read them, and to love them!
