A lot of legislative posturing so politicians can dangle bills on front of constituents face then blame 'the other side' for tanking it, knowing it won't pass, thanks to lobbying.

But ultimately, now that it's known he was of the privileged class, all this did was let average people vent on social media, which makes them feel momentarily seen/heard.

Unfortunately as more info comes about, while the killer made a good point, he himself was raised unlikely to experience what the average US citizen does when it comes to our Healthcare system. Some report ongoing chronic pain which CAN drive a person to extremes.

Nope. Be visible. Make space for yourself without infringing on someone else's and be kind. In my mind that'show legends & myths actuallyhappen, one small deed, retold over and over turns into a big blue ox that moved a mountain.

This is a point I agree with. What abouts don't lead to changing the status quo. I understand, given the incoming threat of 'going after' enemies why, as a father, he's protecting him but it will be weaponized in the grand scheme of things as a 'But Biden did it!' which will hard to refute.

By doing so after the election he gave tacit permission by one of 'the good guys' to do what we already worry the incoming administration will be doing. He gave them a fantastic what-about-ism example. A public admittance of rules for thee, not for me. Highlights hypocrisy at a crucial time

I am of 2 minds about POTUS Biden pardoning his son.
1: He went back on his statement that he would not use his power to do so.
2: Knowing the stated intent to 'go after' assumed enemies,this puts Hunter out of reach of those who might be willing to pillory him just based on affiliation.
