Random art opinion incoming: Forcing yourself to develop a "style" is pointless. Just draw. The style comes as you work. No one makes lines like you because they're your lines. That's your style.

Weirdly enjoyable to draw on cardboard...
Though I think it's more of drawing on toned surfaces. I mean, those art videos and lessons didn't lie: it greatly helps with values and shadings.
Plus I get to use my white charcoal pencil!

An Australian office guy from Twitter. I love seeing guys busy at their work desks. 😏 Drew it on cardboard as well. Made the awful decision to try painting gouache, but scanning it in grayscale covered all the mess. Hehe.

I always feel bad when wanting to buy new art materials, like paints and inks. I don't have much experience with them, so there's an underlying sense of guilt that they'll end up being a waste. On the other hand, there's gonna be a sense of regret that I don't explore other things.
