In this year, I played a lot of JRPGs
Hey, I just beat this!
It's got a very tight story and things progress relatively quickly. It's overall an improvement from Xenoblade 3. The locales are more interesting, the music is better overall, the battle system is slightly better.
I do think it also leans a lot more on nostalgia.

Hey, I just beat this!

WTF is going on? This is bizarre.
My trusty Logitech G913 keyboard from years ago with the paint wearing off is starting to get a few stuck keys.
At that time (maybe at least 5+ years ago), it was the only choice for a low profile TKL keyboard, with media keys (and volume knob).
There's still not a lot of choices for an exact mix.

It's a bit unfortunate, but while I finally got to ramp up the subway system in Austin with a decent revenue flow, the game's new patch with pathfinding changes of commuters reduced my earnings by quite a lot.
I'll have to put it aside for now. The sprawl in here is also wider, so it's not as easy.

If I didn't get my Maru wall calendar during my Japan trip earlier, I might have went for this one.
Just finished this little cute puzzle game called "Is This Seat Taken?" It's a nice short game where you just move the people around and seat them accordingly depending on their preferences.
Or maybe someone forgot to shower and is stinky, so some others who can't take strong smells can't sit near.

Checked out the new Football Manager 2026 demo and I'm not feeling it so far. The new UI at least needs some getting used to and it feels a little worse, everything is reorganized and seems to need more clicks to get to.

This game is freaking awesome.
As a remake, there's really very little bad stuff that I can say. It's a love letter to the original Trails in the Sky FC.
Every moment in the original game was recreated with such effort that it's brings all the nostalgia back (even though I played FC in 2022).

I don't watch a lot of movies, but there's so many things to discover from The Truman Show. Might be worth a rewatch sometime.

It's been almost 2 weeks since I came back from my trip.
People ask me if I had fun and obviously I would say yes, but honestly this one felt a little too...rushed. Like I need to go to X, then Y by taking some public transport and so on.
And samey (midway it's just castles/parks/shrines daily).

Hoo boy, what a start to the season
Well, back home now. Here's the stuff I got this time around, the second picture is the souvenirs for my friends and colleagues.
Came across the Maru calendar in Himeji when looking in a bookshop and thought "Yeah I'll get it somewhere else in Hiroshima or Okayama, this is quite bulky".

Yesterday it was heading back to Hiroshima but had a day at Onomichi, with a connecting bridge that you can bike under to Shikoku, a quaint town with a great view of the inland sea on the hill, cholesterol-inducing top tier ramen and everything looks so 70s-80s that it's like going back in time.

Forgot to upload for two days ago. Went for a day trip to Takamatsu, where I visited the castle ruins, Ritsurin garden (which was great), and out in the mountains for Yakuri temple and the best freaking udon I've had in my life in Yamadaya.

Yesterday I was checking out the Okayama area and went to Kurashiki, with a stop at the Kibitsu shrine in between.

Day 4 and it's all about Miyajima. The torii gate on the sea is extremely impressive.

Day 3 of the trip, I took a ferry to Matsuyama for a day and visited Dogo Onsen and Matsuyama castle.
