Went to the most fantastic fundraiser for SOGI123 last night in Vancouver. Amazing people, food, and activities. My favourite activity was writing things we would’ve written “under the bleachers”. We even got to hand out the leftover food to the local unhoused. Fantastic evening for a great cause!

May not be doing the best right now but at least I haven’t dropped the ball on weight loss. As of this morning I’m down 28lbs from where I started September 7th.

In a continuation of thanksgiving shenanigans I had half a bottle of wine, fell asleep in my friend’s lap for half an hour and snored (but apparently it was cute ???) and then got up to have pumpkin pie and got whipped cream on my boob. What a day.

Last night and today I’ve felt truly awful. So my friends dragged me for retail therapy ($200 on clothes and $500 on makeup) and now I’m having a milkshake. Doesn’t mean I’m not still crying at least once an hour but at least I’ll look pretty and have something tasty.

Got 3 gym workouts in this week along with some walks and local hikes. Feeling pretty good.

So eepy sleepy. Was a a friends place like 4 hours out of town and stayed the night so I had to leave at like 530 in the morning to get to work on time.

Omg I love my colleague so much! I had another instructor observe my lab for a peer review because I have a performance review meeting soon. Everything he wrote was so sweet! I love working with him.

Between the heat, being out of shape, and slight anemia walking around the city really sucks. I’m a sweaty mess in a dress huffing and puffing my way down the road. Doesn’t feel great.
