I feel like it has more to do with what they’ve been exposed to - whether it’s from radio, tik tok, streaming playlists, etc.
It’s vibes over vocal ability. My biggest thing is when artists who can actually sing lean into the “talk singing” too much. Cute here and there but open that throat
