An incredible and unexpected league title with a rejuvenated Klopp team might be the price we had to pay for this season. This is now a higher quality team of players and grief has played a part for many, no doubt, but Slot needs to prove he’s the real deal, and quickly, otherwise…?

Oh boy, what a mess. 5 defeats from 6 league games is not what any top six team should have. Last seasons players are way off, he’s maybe used too many new ones too soon and there’s no identity. Slot has loads of credit in the bank but he hasn’t handled the new signings very well I don’t think.

I hope Slot can own this one because superior xG doesn’t mean you deserve to win. We have lost 3 league games because we can’t defend and don’t bother turning up until it’s too late. Maybe too many new players + out of form players + tactical shortcomings is too much to absorb at once.

If all these new players came into a team in form it would all be much easier, but most of our established players look so bad right now. Imagine coming into that?

It’s all well and good folk asking for Ekitike, Wirtz et al to come on, but who’s going to stop them scoring more goals? In another day we’d have finished these chances, but we’re conceding goals and big chances like crazy.

I hate to say it but I don’t think we have a single defender in form. At this point I’d actually advocate Robbo & Gomez playing some games so we are a little bit harder to score against.

There’s only 2 days now in the season when Utd are a rival, home & away games.They’re irrelevant the rest of the time, but I don’t think this team get that.

I know we are getting screwed by refs most games but if this team was performing at 50% of its potential it wouldn’t matter. We are so far off our level it’s making all the other shit stuff they throw at us lol much worse. If we don’t start to click then top 4 will be the target.
