Here’s an idea. How about we make bonfire night a Saturday every year - like Easter is always a Sunday. Then when it’s midweek like this year we wouldn’t have to endure non stop fireworks on 2 successive weekends, the 5th itself & a few on all the other days in between.

Facebook has reminded me of when we beat Bournemouth on bonfire night 3 years ago & some Bournemouth fans on a podcast thought fireworks were being let off to celebrate Leeds beating them (Leeds are tinpot etc) rather than the fact it was bonfire night.

I’m not much of a hoarder generally speaking but I’ve got an old pair of Adidas tracky bottoms that I reckon are the best part of 20 years old (I don’t wear them anymore) & I just can’t bring myself to throw them away
