Airfix rereleased in 2026 the Robin Hood Figurines Set. Guess most of us had them In their childhood. Which box art best depicts the villainous Sheriff of Nottingham? IMO the 70’s box art is still hilarious, crush that peasant scum 😅

Wow 🤩 did Airfix really rereleased the HMS King George V and the HMS Nelson as 2026 vintage classics? 1:600 ships are also on my bucket list.
It won’t look good for my #buildthestash 😅 if they decide to rerelease the HMS Warspite as well.

Building the 1:144 KLM DC-10. Consider building it in a ground position.
Several (web) shops do have airport mats but I am also looking for 1/144 Boarding Stairs. Found this one so far (TB, an Italian brand). Any ideas?

On airbrushing I decided to use the mask below from now on instead of that white dusk mask I used before. I use acrylic paints and those paints are not or less toxic compared to the enamels. Nonetheless it won't do any harm using better protection.

In my childhood I had some Buck Danny comic books, originally made by Jean-Michel Charlier and Victor Hubinon. Got some comic books for Christmas 🌲 made by a next generation of writers/artists and one of the model kits in my stash (Starfighter F-104) also plays a role in that comic book.

Becoming an All-star-contributor in a FB group isn’t exactly an Olympic gold medal achievement.
But i would like to mention that it has been a nice FB group so far with interesting content.
They won’t hear me for a while in that FB group because next of my scheduled model kits aren’t Airfix.

My airbrush needle got bent but the airbrush didn't splatter, nor got clogged and the paint did not bubble in the cup.
However on aiming the spray gun, masking tape got sprayed near the area I aimed the spray gun at. So I got some new replacement needles, various sizes 😎

Had a #WordPress issue. On updating a plugin the site and its dashboard went completely inaccessible 😳 So you have to access your website using SFTP to have that plugin disabled 😫. To say it mildly: Wordpress allowing a plugin to make even the dashboard inaccessible: very clumsy...

The Airfix 1:72 P40b is finished. Next on my stash, the Spitfire Mk.Vc 😎 with RAF after-market decals as I won’t use the out-of-the-box USAAF or SAAF-decals.

My Airfix 1:72 P40b Warhawk 😎 Turned it into a desert camo Tomahawk. Antenna wiring configuration looks somewhat weird but it seems the first P40 planes were equipped that way (did use Mrs sewing thread 🤫 and some super glue for that). See ya 👋

The Vallejo Ultra Matt Varnish still looks shiny 😳 So shaking the bottle for 15 minutes before spraying and at last an airbrushed layer that isn’t glossy 🙌🏻

Working on this #airfix P40b 1:72 Warhawk. All decals used are left from 80s model kits that went into oblivion long time ago. Did use Hubrol DecalFix and Microscale Liquid Decal Film and the decals did well. Now onwards to the protective 2nd gloss varnish layer.
