Last week's #ASC Conference in San Francisco (my first) was an exercise in perseverance (jetlag is no joke) and a curious observational effort. Criminology there is same as in Europe, but not quite. Sentencing is similar, but not really. The debates sound familiar, but off. A parallel world of sorts
